Guest Feedback

My philosophy is to treat my guests the way I would want to be treated myself when booking a holiday – from the initial enquiry right through to the return from holiday.  I listen to you and your feedback is important to me.  Here are some of the reviews received to-date and I am happy to say that the overall feedback has been absolutely fantastic – so we (me and the Hibiscus Team) must be doing something right...!  All the feedback is taken directly from the Trip Advisor/FlipKey site and can be viewed there also.  (Sorry the TripAdvisor ad is currently closed but all the reviews will reappear once I reopen the ad).

I am delighted to report that I have been awarded badges from Trip Advisor/FlipKey as Top Vacation Rental (in 2011, 2012 and 2013 - badge to be uploaded shortly) and Rated Excellent for the feedback.

“Great location, friendly, trustworthy owners - Hibiscus is a lovely setting, just outside the main town but walkable in the right shoes (as Carvoeiro is set on a small hill with the coast a walk into town). We were supposed to stay in this apartment but shortly before our visit the owner had some complications with the management company and advised us that we would not be able to use the property. I think she was more devastated than we were .... Chris was honest from the start, told us as soon as she knew and managed to secure us alternative accommodation without us having to do a thing (other than agree it!) They pride themselves on reviews from people who actually stayed at the apartment but I wanted to Review and help anyone who hasn't used Owners Direct or similar before. This one is a good one! As far as the location on the Algarve is concerned it is absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Fair choice of food places, nice beaches (although it is the Atlantic so don't expect cool, calm seas!) and easy reach to visit Alvor, Silves, Vilamoura and Albufeira (if you must!) We will 100% be back and almost certainly to Hibiscus next time :-)  Reviewed by Lara, October 2013.

"Spacious, clean, light and airy apartment in a lovely complex - Right from the beginning, Chris has been excellent at communicating and dealt with any queries in a quick and friendly manner. After receiving such good service from Chris before the trip, expectations of the apartment were high and we were not disappointed! A very well equipped apartment, fully air-conditioned (a godsend in august!) and well decorated throughout.  The complex itself is small and quiet - perfect! No problems of an overcrowded pool and we were always able to get a sun lounger!  The resort is a 10-15 min walk into town - downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. We were a family of 4 with 2 children aged 12 and 8 and it wasn't a problem. Though if you did want to take a taxi back from town it was only 5 Euros. Lots of places to eat (can recommend Onze)and the beach has easy access and safe for the kids.  Slide and Splash was an excellent day out for the kids ("this is our best day ever mum!"). 10 Euros each way by taxi and if you book through reception, you get 10% off the admission tickets.
Overall an excellent, memorable stay and we will return!"  Reviewed by Patel Family, St. Albans, August 2013.

"Top notch - A lovely apartment, comfy, light and modern. Which just happens to be on a lovely complex with pool, gym and restaurant. Which just happens to be in a lovely Portuguese town with beach and enough restaurants and bars to please everyone.  Loved it!"  Reviewed by Andy from Derby, August 2013.

"This was beautiful apartment from which to enjoy our holiday - This was a beautiful apartment from which to enjoy our holiday. It's both very well furnished and equipped. It has two balconies which were a delight to sit in at the end of our busy days. The air conditioning was also a welcome extra ... especially at night. The complex itself is small enough not to feel overwhelming and children's needs are well catered for ... not least in the three swimming pools on site. The location is perfect .. we were able to walk into town in around twenty minutes . There is also a small market nearby with all the basics and essentials. As a self catering experience I would describe it as excellent". Reviewed by Pete from Brecon, July 2013.

"Ticked all our boxes! A high quality home from home in a beautiful complex. We loved the decor, the layout and the small touches including the luxurious bath robes. Chris was extremely attentive to our needs and responded promptly to all our queries. She certainly went the extra mile to ensure we had the best holiday experience. The pool was perfect for our needs although quite busy with very young children for the second half of the week. The complex was ideally located and we enjoyed exploring the area on foot and by car. There are some fabulous restaurants to enjoy and the centre of Carveoiro has a lovely atmosphere in the evenings with live music in the square. All round highly recommended!"  Reviewed by Adrienne, July 2013.

"Ideal!!! -
This is a beautiful apartment with everything you need to make it home away from home. It is well furnished, well equipped and very clean. An added bonus is the provision of pool towels, freeing up valuable kg in your luggage!  The apartment is situated in a lovely, small and well kept complex with it's own restaurant/bar which is very handy if you don't want to walk into town in the evening.  Carvoeiro is roughly a 10 min walk down hill (probably 15 mins back because of the climb - good for working off the dessert that you know you shouldn't have had). There 2 or 3 roads/walks into town but we always took the most direct, and steepest, as the kids liked to feed grass to the goats in one of the gardens en route.  Chris provides a very friendly and helpful booking service and the staff on site are also very pleasant and willing to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.  I would have no hesitation in recommending this rental".  Reviewed by Anne, Swindon, June 2013

"Wonderful apartment in fab location - We have just returned from a week in this apartment and can't rate it highly enough. We are a family of 4 with a baby and a 3 year old and the apartment and complex was perfect for us. it's a very spacious, clean, modern apartment with marble worktops and lovely (limestone or similar I think!) flooring throughout. The ensuite bathroom has a lovely big bath and the other bathroom has an amazing power rain shower.  It was well equipped and there were free washing machines we used at the reception area to the complex...essential when you have young kiddies! The swimming pool was fantastic. A great toddler pool with buckets, spades, dinghies we could use and so close to the apartment.  What else can I say...lovely views, loads of supermarkets close by, lovely balcony which gets the afternoon and evening sunshine. Oh, and Chris the owner is lovely and very helpful with anything you want to know. A lovely holiday. I want to go back..."  Reviewed by Helen, Surrey, May 2013

"Wonderful Stay - The apartment lived up to the photos - very spacious, comfortable, modern, and clean. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking for ourselves was easy. The grounds are really well kept, and the pool was a short stroll across the grass. The bar / cafe wasn't staffed during our stay so we couldn't order food, but there was an honesty bar if you wanted a drink. All in all, we had a great time, and would thoroughly recommend Hibiscus Gardens".  Reviewed by Chris, September 2010

"Exactly what we were led to expect, and some, with no food worries - I booked with a little trepidation as, being cynical, the owner is always going to 'big-up' their accommodation. However, it was exactly as the pictures and description!!! The complex is small and intimate with a central pool area. When we were there, the honour bar had changed to a simple restaurant with drinks, ice-creams and a lunch menu with very fair prices considering the captive audience. The pool was never too busy and the gym was more than adequate but essentially a room with some machines in. If you need entertainment and kids clubs, this is not for you.  As for the apartment, it was as new, hot water, English TV (groan), air conditioned throughout, which automatically went off if the patio doors were opened, towels and bed linen refreshed mid-week on a one week stay!!! The only thing which makes it look a bit desolate is during the day when people have their electric shutters down to keep the apartment shaded. Apart from that it was exactly what we wanted without question. As for the owner Chris, she was fantastic and answered every question asked and has obviously earnt her award in Tripadvisor, We have a situation where we require gluten and wheat free meals.  Chris was able to recommend at least two restaurants that we ate in with no worries whatsoever, the staff we spoke to at these restaurants seemed familiar with the situation which is always a comfort. We opted for a car being a bit on the lazy side, and felt, that unless we didn't find the correct route a 10 minute walk to the town was a bit optimistic. One trip we decided on was to aqualand, a great day out for the children and the 'adult' children alike. The people are friendly, service is good and Carvoeiro is a nice family resort. We oh so nearly booked a holiday to the larger new resort next door, but having seen them both in the flesh so to speak. I feel we made the right choice. It was an excellent holiday, and we will be going back for longer next time."  Reviewed by Hathaways, August 2012.

"An immaculate and very comfortable apartment - we'd like to stay - Our hopes were high and the apartment more than fulfilled our expectations. The owner [Chris] is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is quiet, comfortable and well equipped. We were very impressed with the attention to small detail - niggly things like a light bulb needing replacing are dealt with very promptly. The staff and management we encountered working at the development were charming. We will definitely stay again".  Reviewed by Jonathan, July 2012

"Relax in a luxurious apartment in beautiful surroundings - This is our second short break stay at Hibiscus and both times the service received from initial enquiry is superb, with attention to detail being excellent. The apartment has a real feeling of luxury - spacious, light and comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The complex is really well maintained with beautiful landscaping and communal areas. A large supermarket is conveniently located within a 5 min drive and the centre is about a 20 min stroll downhill. Taxis are readily available at €5 each way. We've been returning to Carvoeiro for several years and especially enjoy the relaxed pace, lovely restaurants and friendliness of the locals. Since finding Hibiscus Gardens last year, I could easily return there year on year".  Reviewed by Carol, May 2012

"Well earned return trip!! - This was our second time back in apartment 33 at Hibiscus Gardens. We had stayed here in Sept 2011. As usual not much had changed - which was absolutely excellent!! Chilled quiet times, the pool to ourselves, and a spotlessly clean apartment. We "cooked in" three nights and walked into town the other three nights. We ate at Restaurant Primavera, and Tia Ilda - both good places. Marialice the on site manager was great, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Will definitely return for that next well earned short break". Reviewed by Trevor and Janice, April 2012

"Fabulous week's holiday in beautiful surroundings with lovely food - This was my first experience of Portugal and I loved every minute of it. Booking was very efficient and simple and the owner couldn't have been more helpful, giving me advice on the area, eating out and all the places of interest. The apartment was lovely, very spacious and light and beautifully clean. Loads of storage space and a very well equipped kitchen, not that we ate in very much. The developent was very well designed and maintained, surrounded by beautiful gardens, although, we were a little early in the year to see it to its full potential. There were several pools, one of which I tried out when I needed to cool off. The bar was well equipped although at this time of year it is run as an honesty bar, later in the year it is manned. The nearby town was about a ten minute walk away and was a very quaint old fishing village. If you didn't have a car you could easily use the beach in the town and it looked very safe for children. Plenty of restaurants in the town and also some much closer to the apartment. Try the Piri-Piri chicken - it's delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and will definitely book this apartment again next year".  Reviewed by Sally, April 2012

Overall it was a very nice stay during the Easter holidays".

"Home alone - I would never normally stay at a development like Hibiscus. The idea of being subjected to other peoples holiday habits while trying to get a bit of down time is a big no-no. However, the fact we were going away in late October made me take a punt on it. My decision was based on the fact that the apartment looked very nice and, given that the weather would possibly be changeable that was important. It was both stylish and well equipped. We eat in quite a bit so luckily the kitchen was very well appointed. We took a stack of DVD's in case of rain and so spent a few days huddled up with a fridge full of good food and booze snuggled up on the very comfy sofa.  The surprise bonus was that, as it was so late in the year, we were virtually the only people staying there.  The staff we met were very helpful and polite and the grounds and apartments were all of a very good standard.  Carvoeiro is a good base to get around from and the town is as you'd expect, built for the tourist trade but very manageable with lots of restaurants to choose from. One rainy night we even had a take away curry and I can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever had, and I live ten minutes from Brick Lane!  Another night we ate out at the Italian and again I was blown away by the tortellini porcini, plate lickingly good.  All in all, Hibiscus served its purpose wonderfully. The apartment was cool when it was hot outside (21C somedays) and cosy when it wasn't. Town is ten minutes walk down hill, fifteen getting back.  There's a good chance we'd go back again".  Reviewed by Simon, November 2011

"Stunning apartment in Beautiful Setting - No.33 apartment in Hibiscus Gardens more than lived up to our expectations. We arrived by Resort Hoppa direct to the door, just £10 each way per head, very efficient. The apartment was spotless and just so comfortable and relaxing. There is a good sized veranda that adjoins the living room like an extension of the room itself. We ate there most lunchtimes as it was so peaceful and pleasant and a welcome retreat from the midday sun. We usually eat out in the evenings when on holiday but this was such a relaxing environment we preferred to eat in half of the time. Something we'd never dream of doing usually. There is a good little local sandy beach right in the town just 10 minutes walk down the hill. A great start to the day is a coffee in one of the cafe's next to the beach where you can watch the sun rise and bath the whole area in sunshine. I'm missing that already. The pool area was very clean with a lovely bar beside the pool where you can buy drinks. An honesty policy is used when not manned, so everything always available. At first we wanted to stay in a villa but we're so glad we didn't as no 33 apartment worked so much better. Its on the first floor so has a lovely outlook over gardens, yet very private. Wonderfully light and airy, good sized rooms, all on the same level better than two floors we felt. Good air con too. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My only reservation in writing this review is that it might get too booked up now, because we will surely want to go again. Also forgot to mention we got a taxi several days to local beaches. All were fabulous, with wooden erected cafes, nothing tacky at all, they were very well done in keeping with the beauty of the place. I don't think a car is necessary but if you want to see a bit more then I'd recommend it or do as we did. Get Resort Hoppa and get a taxi as they were reasonably priced".

"Truly a Home from Home! - My wife and I booked this luxury 2 bedroomed apartment for a 25th Anniversary getaway. When we arrived Marialice met us and showed us quickly to the apartment.  Her on-site team are helpful, courteous, and ensured that we felt at home. The outside gardens, walkways, pools, club house, gymnasium were well equipped, spotlessly clean and well cared for. On opening the front door we were pleased to find that Chris Brogan's apartment was exactly how it looked on the website - perfect, modern and once again spotlessly clean. The air conditioning, lighting, showers, electric window shutters all worked! and met our exacting standards. Having been to this area of Portugal before we knew where Hibiscus Gardens were situated and indeed it is very close to nice beaches, and the town of Carvoeiro. We hired a car which helped us explore beyond the immediate area. What we appreciated most about this attractive location was the peace and quiet, along with Chris Brogan's ability to deliver a very memorable visit to this part of the Algarve".  Reviewed by Trevor & Janice, September 2011.

"A little piece of paradise - All in all, a fabulous spot, near some great beaches and restaurants, with a really peaceful atmosphere to come back to each evening”.  Reviewed by Ian, August 2011

“Great Holiday - We had a wonderful week at this apartment in Hibiscus gardens. The owner, Chris, was very helpful, answering various queries before we left. The pictures and information given on the flat before we went were true and accurate. It was a light, contemporary property, beautifully furnished. We were not disappointed. We went in June and there were a few other families but it did not feel packed in any way. The complex and gardens were extremely well maintained and security was good including a safe in the apartment. There was nice, now semi shaded, children's play area which was sanded with lots of toys for children to play with in the sand and in the childrens' pool. The chef and waitress at the restaurant were friendly and helpful and the 'honesty bar' a good touch (you write in a book items you take from the bar after hours). I would also mention the ladies at reception who were very helpful with ordering a hire car. The only niggles were that several of the spotlights in the flat needed new bulbs and having to take rubbish to a main bin just outside the complex. One within the complex would be nice. Otherwise, the facilities were excellent and we would consider staying there again”. Reviewed by Vicky, June 2011.

"Lovely apartment in quiet location - We were really impressed with the apartment which was as good as the owner's information. The site is attractively landscaped with villas on either side of the cul-de-sac. The apartment is in a very quiet spot at the end of a row with a panoramic view and balconies on two sides. There is a small playground with a slide and sandpit within a short walking distance by the pool and cafe. Unfortunately the weather was a bit variable so we didn't get to enjoy the pools as much as we hoped. We did enjoy a walk to the beach down in the centre of Carvoeiro by the town square. There are also lots of places to visit in the region”.  Reviewed by RS, April 2011

"Luxury in beautiful, peaceful surroundings - This was my first time of arranging a holiday as it was a suprise for my husband and Chris couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure staying in her beautiful appartment surrounded by the stunning views and gorgegous gardens. Hibiscus Gardens is quiet and peaceful with the town only a 10 minute walk away, for our first 4 days we had the pool to ourselves and hardly saw a soul. A heated pool would have been nice as the water wasn't very inviting, but in hotter months you may need this to cool down. The splash & slide just down the road was a fantastic day out but I understand it does get rather busy later in the year. Would recommend Hibicus Gardens to all that are looking for a peaceful get away in luxury”.  Reviewed by Amber, April 2011.

"Fantastic - Fanstastic place. Stayed in a 2 bed apartment - very modern, spacious, balcony, and with private garden. Great swimming pool- was quiet in September so at time had the pool to ourselves. Water in the pools is warm unlike other places in Europe where water in swimming pools is freezing!  Staff are all very friendly.  Decent gym with treadmill, cross trainer, bikes and weights. The location of the complex is also ideal. 10mins walk to centre of Carvoeiro. Walk back is up hill though. Carvoeiro is a little fishing town with a great beach. Would definitely go back here and recommend anyone looking at the algarve should look no further than this place!” Reviewed by NS, November 2010

"Beautiful apartment in luxurious Complex - We spent a fantastic two weeks at Hibiscus Gardens. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for two adults and a busy toddler. The kitchen was far better equipped than my kitchen at home, which made it stress-free to eat in when necessary. The pool area was always quiet and the staff very helpful without being intrusive. Carvoeiro is perfect for a family holiday but you do need a car to get to the best beaches. The beaches round here are stunning. The walk into the town was a pleasant 15 minute stroll but was a strenuous 20 minute uphill return trip with a pushchair. I would heartily recommend both Carvoeiro and Hibiscus Gardens to anyone.  Reviewed by Dominic, October 2010

"Outstanding - We cannot thank Chris enough for the wonderful service she provided, she could not have done or organised more for us. The apartment is fabulous, and looks even more impressive when you get there. The staff at the complex could not have been more friendly and were willing to help at all times. The apartment is a bit out from the town but is ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again in this apartment in the future”.  Reviewed by Elaine, October 2010

"Simply Chill! - My husband and I needed a chill time badly and we got it!! Chris promised it would be right for us and she didn't let us down. The apartment was about 45 mins from Faro and arriving in the dark didn’t reduce our experience as the setting and actual apartment was lovely! In fact the photos don’t do it justice. Everything in the apartment was of a good standard and it is all so well appointed and furnished. The apartment is at the end of the complex and brings absolute peace & quiet as a consequence. It very much also allows the inside to be outside with the sliding patio doors which push back and allow the living area to open right out. A little disappointed that I packed my heels and couldnt wear them as the walk to the centre of town was too much of a challenge! My feet were of course grateful. A taxi back each night was a must for me! We found the quick way to town on the second night, it wasn't that obvious. My hubby got lost a few times on his morning runs trying to keep the pounds down from the lovely food we experienced in the many restaurants in the town. In all we had a great holiday and would go back to Hibiscus without hesitation!!! Notes : The pool area would need more parasols if it was busier as the breeze caught them a few times and meant there were too few to go around on occasions”.  Reviewed by Jackie, September 2010.

"Hibiscus Gardens - A Jewel in the Algarve - Well what can I say, but Hibiscus Gardens was a jewel in the Algarve. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort and I will have no problem expressing my thoughts in here when i say how fantastic this resort is. The apartment was stunning and the views matched the setting of the spacious apartment. The service was impeccable, including having the guy at the restaurant take us to the huge supermarket and wait for an hour whilst we did our weekly shop, all included in the taxi fare. The open bar policy is fantastic and it really felt like a home from a home. We will defiantly be thinking of returning to this place again as we loved it”.  Reviewed by Stephen, September 2010

"Just what the Doctor ordered - My children and I had a lovely time at Hibiscus Gardens. We had a 2 bed luxury apartment that definitely earned its description - the roof terrace was perfect for my evening get away (with a glass of wine) and the accommodation was spacious enough for all 4 of us to have our own space when needed. All at Hibiscus Gardens went out of their way to be of assistance - my two particularly liked the honour system at the snack bar and Friday night tapas with Sangria served my husband very well. All in all a lovely break - next time we will stay for longer!”  Reviewed by Fiona, August 2010

“Lovely setting in classy development - Just back from an 8 day stay in Carvoiero where myself and my family enjoyed a lovely peaceful time at Hibiscus Gardens. We stayed in a 2 bdrm villa for the first 2 nights and then moved on to Chris's 2 bdrm apt, as our flight dates could not be accommodated with the apt. That was the first sign that dealing with Chris was going to be a pleasure - she was extremely helpful and flexible in setting up these arrangements for us. The move frm villa to apt went off without a hitch, and in no way interfered with our stay - in fact, we preferred the apt to the villa as there was a major chunk of space taken up in the villa by a staircase, and we found the apt more comfortable. The apt is at the end of the development, so very private, quiet and peaceful - although the entire complex is also quiet and peaceful. The main pool and restaurant were also quite near the apt, which was handy, and the honour bar and dvd library were great for the kids. The walk into town was short, and hilly, so the walk back was up a steep hill - but still manageable. Chris helped us organize a car rental for a few days too which was also great - and we found the management company out there also very helpful. I had some trouble with the internet for 2 days, which was really the only downside, since I really needed to be able to connect with work those days, but other than that I have to say we could not find fault. The apt is furnished quite well, with all you could ask for, and the two fridges were helpful when there were 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Overall I would have to rate it a 5 out of 5 experience!  Reviewed by Eileen, August 2010

"Hibiscus Gardens - Rest and Relaxation in Luxury Surroundings - Recently spent a week at Hibiscus Gardens in Portugal with my spouse and 2 friends and feel compelled to share the wonderful experience. The apartment is superb, very spacious with added benefit of 2 bathrooms (ensuite to main - other bathroom right next to 2nd bedroom). With the added bonus of free wi-fi and UK TV (although we didn't feel the need to watch TV) - it offers excellent facilities. The complex itself feels quite exclusive, with a nice main pool, separate kids pool and 2 other smaller secluded pools. We never struggled to get sunbeds by the pool (even at 11am). All the staff (both english and portuguese) were very helpful and friendly and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The location of Hibiscus Gardens is excellent, close enough to Faro for an easy airport transfer (but far away enough not to be bothered by aircraft noise!). The main (and quaint) town of Carvoeiro was about 10 to 15 mins walk (a nice walk too) - and caters for all tastes when it comes to restaurants. There is also a nice square about a 10 min walk with restaurants and bars - which we frequented most nights. All in all one the best breaks we've had, you can do as little or as much as you want - definitely will be going back.

"Fantastic accomodation and resort makes for perfect relaxation - I had written a very long detailed review about this apartment and complex, however there are limited chracters allowed, so I have had to delete it and start again.  Therefore in short I will say that both the complex and apartment are of a superb standard, everything is clean modern and well appointed, giving a perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. The staff at the resort go above and beyond the standard level of service to do anything they can to help.  If you have young children or walking difficulties it may be a good idea to look at car hire, as the walk up from town is very steep. Taxi's can be ordered from reception though. If you are arriving in the evening do get some supplies on the way from the airport as supermarkets  are shut and there is no welcome pack provided.  I would not hesitate to stay here again”.  Reviewed by Leila, June 2010

t - My friend and I had a lovely surprise when we arrived at the apartment, it was immaculate throughout with every mod con you would need for a weeks holiday. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is an excellent size with plenty of sun beds. All staff were extremely helpful and there if you needed them but did not impose and I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the use of the honesty shop for refreshments which also included book exchange and dvd's if needed. The resort has some shops nearby but it is a 15/20 minute walk into town, down hill on the way, up hill coming back! But this was not a problem and I was 7 months pregnant! I would highly recommend this resort, the apartment was sizeable and very comfortable and everyone who we spoke to who was staying in the villas found them to be of an equally good standard”.  Reviewed by Claire, June 2010.

"Fantastic holiday! - We have been so impressed with all the help we received from the initial enquiry with Chris, through to the stay at this really beautiful apartment, which was light, airy and so spacious, equipped with everything you can think of. It is set in lovely gardens and the main pool was completely empty for our entire stay, even through the weather was beautiful! It felt like out own personal pool and so relaxing and peaceful. The children's pool was perfect for a young baby and the restaurant had an 'honesty' bar so need to worry about paying until the end of the holiday. The staff were lovely and helpful and we had maid service for our stay. I cannot fault this place at all and know why everyone goes back! We didn't take a car and didn't need one but if you want to get out and see the sights and some incredible beaches close by, it is good to hire one for a day or so. Otherwise, the local beach is 10 mins walk away in the main town. Lovely. Thank you so much and see you next year!” Reviewed by The Hayes Family, May 2010

"Perfect family holiday - The apartment was everything we hoped it would be.  Very stylish, quiet, spotless, containing everything we needed even towels for round the pool.  Perfect for entertaining both our 18 month old and 63 year old.  Great pools and small play area, DVD library, books and a bar you could help yourself to and pay at the end of your stay. The staff could not have been more helpful to help with all our questions.  With the beach and restaurants a short stroll away, this was a perfect escape to the sun and none of us wanted to leave. We will all be back soon as it is a real gem and we have fallen in love with it” .

"Just what I needed - I spent a few days in this apartment at the end of September and you can tell from the photographs that it is a lovely, modern, comfortable, spacious and well equipped apartment.  So the best thing I can do is to draw attention to the luxurious touches that aren't self evident but showed a really thoughtful attention to detail. It was lovely to find fluffy towelling robes and slippers for every guest, a full set of bath towels in both of the luxurious bathrooms, pool towels, soaps, a decent number of hangers and satellite TV which meant that a full range of British and American TV stations were available.  Also there is a maid service which minimises chores. It's very new so everything looked lovely and I got the impression that everything is going to be well maintained. And the weather was lovely. I came back to London feeling relaxed and rested, wishing I could have stayed a bit longer”.  Reviewed by LouLou, October 2009.
