Recent news:  Sadly, Hibiscus Gardens has closed.  Currently there is no further information.  Hopefully we should know more near end of 2014/early 2015.  Many thanks to past guests and new guests enquiring for their good wishes and continued interest.
27 May 2015:  Thank you all for your continued interest in Hibiscus Gardens - I have really appreciated all your support - it's so nice to know that past guests and new have been so concerned about what is happening at Hibiscus Gardens.  No definite news as yet but just a glimmer of hope that there may be some movement towards a resolve in getting Hibiscus open again.  Therefore, I am compiling an email list and am happy to keep you informed of when we will be open.  Please email me if you wish to be put on the list so you will be the first to know when we re-open again.   I will anyway continue to update this site as and when I know more.
18 August 2015:  I'm sorry to say that I have no further news and I think it's unlikely that Hibiscus Gardens will be open this year.  If the situation changes, I will update my site.

Hibiscus Gardens is a small, exclusive development of 39 villas and apartments set in lush semi tropical gardens, about 800 metres (approx 10 minutes walk) from the Centre of the delightful fishing village of Carvoeiro which has expanded to meet the demands of today’s international visitor, without losing its charm. Carvoeiro is a tourist destination, yet there are many residents of all nationalities who have made their home in Carvoeiro and this gives the town a special character and a year round ‘buzz’.

This is a perfect place for families with babies and young children as we are in a safe, gated community. Carvoeiro also great night-life for those who want to party with a 10 minute walk down to the centre of the village.  We are above the village in Monte Carvoeiro which is quiet and peaceful.  Monte Carvoeiro has it's own community of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away.

Hibiscus Gardens is centrally located on the Algarve, some 35/40 minutes from Faro Airport and close to the best that the Algarve has to offer.  Some of Europe’s finest beaches are nearby and the spectacular hills of Monchique are only half an hour drive away.

Work out in the gym or relax by one of the delightful pools, enjoy a cocktail and a snack at the pool bar or simply relax from the private balcony of my apartment.

A maid service is available during your stay - see details on Rental Information.

Typical and unspoiled Algarve villages and countryside can be explored at leisure or for the adventurous, by Jeep Safari, and for those who enjoy the buzz of lively nightlife, the bars, clubs and discos of Albufeira and Portimão are within easy reach.  For the young at heart (of all ages) Zoomarine, Acqualand and Slide & Splash provide the excitement.  As for the sport enthusiasts – simply a vast choice of activities from numerous golf courses, deep sea fishing, wind and kite surfing and all other water sports to paragliding, rock climbing and mountain biking.  See Local Information/Activities for more information.
One of the locality’s strongest attractions is the beaches.  The coastline in this area is extremely photogenic mix of cliffs, coves, bays and beaches.  It can be enjoyed at any time of the year, including winter, simply going for a beach or cliff-top stroll.  See Local Beaches.
